What Is A Root Canal?
A root canal is a procedure used to save and restore a severely damaged or infected tooth. A severe cavity can cause the tooth’s nerve to become irritated, inflamed, and infected.
The tooth’s pulp and nerve are removed during a root canal operation. Next, rotary flexible nickel-titanium files are used to clean the tooth’s small channels. For comfort, the tooth is then sterilized and sealed with a permanent filling.
Inspire Dental is the only dental office in Pakistan with a root canal treatment specialist. Dr. Awab Alvi is an expert in microscopic root canal therapy, which has a higher success rate and is painless. However, he has only worked at our hospital since receiving his training at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, we have Dr. Muhammed Hassan Hameed, a root canal specialist and alumnus of Agha Khan University.
